Standard and technical specifications for TUV charging pile cable

1. Conductor
Number of cores: 2345 with or without signal control wires, where the conductors are of category 6 in EN60228, plated or not tinned
1) Those who do not indicate the temperature conditions are room temperature, that is, 23±2℃.
2) The long-term use temperature of the cable is -40°C~125°C and -40°C~105°C.
3) 125℃ material is low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant, used for single-core wire.
4) 105 ℃ material is flame retardant (cable requires burning in bundles C), used for multi-core wires.
5) The 3000h test temperature for 125°C material is 125°C, the 240h test temperature is 150°C, and the thermal overload temperature is 175°C
The 3000h test temperature of 105°C material is 105°C, the 240h test temperature is 135°C, and the thermal overload temperature is 150°C.
6) 125 ℃ material requires good tear resistance, above 6N/mm (according to the test method of rubber cable).
7) After 240h, 150℃ aging test, the material will not change color or fade.
2. Isolation layer
Allows conductors to be wound with a suitable material barrier
3. Insulation
The conductor must be covered with the specified insulating material
Insulation must be extruded and must be solid and uniform. The insulation must be removed without damage to the insulation itself and the conductors or tin plating present
The specified value of insulation thickness shall comply with the standard. The average value of the insulation thickness should not be less than the specified value, and the thickness of the thinnest part of the insulation should not be less than 90%-0.1mm of the specified value.
4. Core wire and filling
Cores must be stranded and center fillers are permitted
5. Inner sheath (if any)
Stranded cores must be covered by an inner sheath of the same material as the outer sheath or insulation
The inner sheath must be extruded over the insulating cores, allowing the gaps embedded between the insulating cores to form a virtually circular shape
There should be no harmful effect between the inner sheath and the insulation - the inner sheath should not adhere to the insulated core wire
The specified value of the thickness of the inner sheath must comply with the standard
6. Shield
Bare copper wire or tinned copper wire braided shield shall be wrapped around the inner jacket
The nominal diameter of the copper wire should conform to the standard given value
The total number of twists, twist angle and filling factor within the shielding length of 100mm must meet the standard requirements
7. Sheath or outer sheath
Shielded or stranded cores must be covered with the specified sheath material
The outer sheath must be a single layer extruded and must be a tight fit but not bonded to the shield or core
The specified value of the sheath thickness shall comply with the standard.
The average value of the sheath thickness should not be less than the specified value, and the thickness of the thinnest part of the sheath should not be less than 85%-01mm of the specified value
8. Signal control line Signal control line (if any)
It should be twisted with the core wire, and it is allowed to have a shielding layer. Its filling factor must meet the standard requirements, and the specified thickness must meet the standard requirements.
9. Nameplate identification
The rated wire section identification shall be printed or stamped on the jacket, and the printed identification must be durable and readable.
All in all, the most basic structure of cables for charging piles includes conductors, isolation, insulation, stranded core wires, jackets and the nameplate logo stamped on the jackets.
